VERRUEX
Injectable solution for the treatment of papillomatosis.
COMPOSITION:
Each 100 mL of injectable solution contains:
Chlorobutanol 50 g
Excipients q.s. to 100 mL
INDICATIONS:
Treatment and control of papillomatosis (warts) in cattle, sheep, and goats.
DOSAGE AND ROUTE OF ADMINISTRATION:
Cattle: Administer 1 mL per 10 kg body weight by subcutaneous route. One application once weekly for three consecutive weeks, depending on severity or as directed by the veterinarian.
Sheep and goats: Administer 1 mL per 10 kg body weight by subcutaneous route. One application once weekly for three consecutive weeks, depending on severity or as directed by the veterinarian.
TOPICAL USE:
For small papillomas, mammary papillomas, or as complementary therapy, apply topically with a brush to a wide area surrounding the papilloma once daily for 3 days.
Repeat 10 days later if necessary, depending on severity or as directed by the veterinarian.
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Do not use in cachectic or malnourished animals, or in animals with renal and/or hepatic impairment.
Do not use in anemic or hypoproteinemic animals.
Avoid high doses in pregnant females.
Do not use in animals under 3 months of age.
Do not administer more than 10 mL per injection site.
PRECAUTIONS:
Store at temperatures not exceeding 30°C.
Keep out of reach of children.
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD:
Meat: Animals must not be slaughtered for human consumption until 7 days after the end of treatment.
Milk: Milk from treated animals must not be used for human consumption until 7 days after the last treatment.
