USES:
Prevention and treatment of inflammation and pain affecting muscles, tendons, bones, joints, and the mammary gland.
Used before work, sports, or exercise for rapid warm-up, and after exercise to promote muscle recovery.
Helps reduce pain and inflammation of the mammary gland, facilitating milk let-down.
In companion animals, it may be used during pregnancy to help reduce mammary gland discomfort.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Wash the affected area, especially the udder, with warm water, dry thoroughly, and apply a sufficient amount of UNGÜENTO No. 100.
Massage gently and thoroughly.
Repeat 2 to 3 times daily until pain and inflammation have completely subsided.
In cases of mastitis caused by trauma, apply a sufficient amount with gentle massage 3 to 5 times daily, and completely milk out the udder 3 to 5 times per day.
MECHANISM OF ACTION:
Camphor: Provides anesthetic, analgesic, and antipruritic effects by activating the TRPV3 receptor, involved in inflammatory hyperalgesia and skin sensitization.
Turpentine oil: Acts as a topical counterirritant with analgesic and vasodilatory effects, helping to relieve inflammation and muscle tension.
Methyl salicylate: Inhibits cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2), reducing prostaglandin synthesis responsible for inflammatory responses.
PRESENTATION: Jars containing 120 g and 300 g.
USE IN: Cattle, dogs, sheep, and swine.
