Indications
Horses:
Used as an analgesic and anti-inflammatory for:
Acute and chronic musculoskeletal disorders
Reduction of pre- and postoperative pain following orthopedic and soft-tissue surgery
Treatment of pain associated with equine colic*
Cattle:
Used as an analgesic and anti-inflammatory for:
Musculoskeletal disorders
Reduction of pre- and postoperative pain following surgical procedures
Treatment of pain and inflammation associated with:
Acute respiratory infection*
Acute mastitis*
Diarrhea in young or adult animals*
Swine:
Used as an analgesic and anti-inflammatory for:
Musculoskeletal disorders (lameness)
Reduction of pre- and postoperative pain following surgical procedures
Treatment of pain and inflammation associated with:
Mastitis–Metritis–Agalactia (MMA) syndrome*
Post-weaning wasting syndrome*
Treatment of these conditions should be accompanied by the appropriate therapy prescribed by the attending veterinarian.
Dosage and Route of Administration
Horses: Administer intravenously as a single dose of 0.6 mg per kg of body weight, equivalent to 3.0 mL per 100 kg. If necessary, a second dose may be administered after 24 hours.
Cattle: Administer intravenously or subcutaneously as a single dose of 0.5 mg per kg of body weight, equivalent to 2.5 mL per 100 kg. Treatment may be repeated every 24 hours for 3 to 5 days.
Swine: Administer intramuscularly as a single dose of 0.4 mg per kg of body weight, equivalent to 2.0 mL per 100 kg. If necessary, a second dose may be administered after 24 hours.
Other indications or treatment duration are at the discretion of the attending veterinarian.
