Indications
Treatment of retained placenta, uterine atony, primary and secondary weakness of uterine contractions during the expulsive stage of labor, metritis, postpartum hemorrhage, and postpartum agalactia. Adjunctive treatment for mastitis.
Target Species
Mares, cows, sows, sheep, goats, bitches, queens, and foxes.
Administration
Subcutaneous, intramuscular, or intravenous route.
Dosage
Mares and cows:
Intramuscular or subcutaneous: 3–6 ml
Intravenous: 2–4 ml
Sows up to 200 kg:
Intramuscular or subcutaneous: 3 ml
Intravenous: 2 ml
Sows over 200 kg:
Proportional doses
Sheep, goats, cats, dogs, and foxes:
Intramuscular or subcutaneous: 0.3–1.5 ml
Intravenous: 0.2–1 ml
